Found materials are the starting point for my work.  Using others’ scraps, designs, and words, I cast cultural jetsam in new roles.  I focus on the peripheral and bring it to the center.  My work is an archive of contemporary life and an ode to transformation.

With consumerism and the information age, we are enticed and inundated by visual stimuli.  It’s hard to know where to direct our attention and take time for thoughtful observation.  Because I cannot look away from what surrounds me, I reclaim and reorganize it, creating a world I want to live in.
